Five ingredient nutella brownies

This might be the quickest way to eat a large amount of Nutella in a short space of time.

INGREDIENTS
• 70g unsalted butter
• 100g light brown caster sugar
• 2 medium eggs
• 300g Nutella (or similar chocolate hazlenut spread)
• 100g self-raising flour
• Nuts to decorate (optional)

RECIPE

1. Heat the oven to 190C or 370F. Line a brownie tin with baking paper.

2. Using a stand mixer or handheld, beat the butter and sugar together until light and creamy.

3. Add the eggs and mix, but don't over-mix.

4. Add the Nutella and mix so that it's fully combined.

5. Add the flour and beat in by hand. Be careful not to over-mix as this will take all the air out of the batter and you want the brownies to rise a little bit.

6. Pour the mixture into the pan, spreading it out into the corners. Decorate with hazelnuts, chocolate chips or flaked almonds if you want.

7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the edges are coming away from the tin. If you like brownies really gooey in the middle, get them out a little bit early.
